Terms of Service for Wordee

Welcome to Wordee ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wordee mobile application ("App") and any related services operated by Dan Vento.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall or discontinue use of Wordee.

1. Overview

Wordee is a personal learning app designed to help users collect, organize, and practice words from different languages. Some features may be available only to premium users who have an active subscription.

2. Ownership and License

The Wordee App and its content are owned by Dan Vento.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal and non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App or its content.
  • Use the App for any unlawful or harmful activity.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium features may be offered through in-app subscriptions managed by RevenueCat and Google Play Billing.

When you make a purchase:

  • Payments are processed securely through Google Play.
  • Subscription access is managed by RevenueCat.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Google Play account settings before the renewal date.

Wordee does not collect or store any payment information directly.

Refunds are handled according to Google Play’s refund policies.

4. Account Identification

Wordee does not require a personal account or login.
For subscription validation, the App may use an anonymous identifier generated by RevenueCat or Google Play to confirm whether you have an active premium subscription.

No personal data (such as your name, email, or contact info) is required or stored by Wordee.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for lawful and educational purposes.
You must not:

  • Attempt to interfere with the App’s functionality or security.
  • Exploit or misuse the App’s content or services.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dan Vento shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how data is collected and processed.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
Any changes will take effect upon posting an updated version in the App or on the website. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
